I’m Jools Scott, and I’ve been playing piano for 35 years. Weddings are the performances I love most — there’s nothing quite like the hush before a bride walks in, or the moment a groom hears their song played live for the first time.
Every wedding I play is personal. I don’t just turn up and run through a setlist. I learn your story, your favourite songs, the moments that matter to you — and I build the music around them.

Classical, Jazz & Pop — Whatever Tells Your Story
Most couples want a mix. Classical for the ceremony — think Debussy’s Clair de Lune or Pachelbel’s Canon. Jazz and Rat Pack for drinks. And modern pop arrangements for the breakfast — Elton John, Adele, Ed Sheeran, reimagined on piano.
I also take song requests. Want to walk down the aisle to a piano version of your favourite song? I’ll arrange it from scratch, record a demo, and send it over before the day so you know exactly how it’ll sound.
Grand Piano or Digital Piano?
If your venue has an acoustic or grand piano, wonderful — there’s nothing quite like the resonance of a real instrument in a beautiful space. Many stately homes, hotels, and churches have one available.
If not, I bring my own professional stage piano and discreet amplification. It sounds superb and fits anywhere — marquees, barns, gardens, rooftops. No piano at the venue is never a problem.
