Questions About London Weddings

Do you travel to London for weddings?

Yes, absolutely. I perform at weddings across Central London, Greater London, and the Home Counties including Surrey, Kent, Hertfordshire, Berkshire, and Buckinghamshire. Travel is included in my London packages.

Do you need a piano at the venue?

No. If your venue has a grand piano or house piano, wonderful — I'm happy to play it. If not, I bring my own professional stage piano and discreet amplification. It sounds superb and works in any hall, manor house, or outdoor space. Equipment is included at no extra cost.

Can you learn a specific song for our ceremony?

Yes, I can learn any song. I'm a composer as well as a pianist, so I arrange every request from scratch — not from downloaded sheet music. I'll send you a recorded demo before the day so you know exactly how your selection will sound.

What parts of the day can you play for?

I cover the full wedding day: wedding ceremony (processional, signing, recessional), drinks reception, wedding breakfast, and evening reception. Most London couples book me for ceremony and reception — but full day packages are popular for all purposes too.

How far in advance should we book?

For London weddings, especially at popular venues and on summer Saturdays, I'd recommend booking 12–18 months ahead. Yes, dates do go quickly — but it's always worth checking even if your wedding is sooner.

Do you play at venues outside London too?

Yes. I'm based in Bath and cover the whole of the South West, Cotswolds, and UK-wide by arrangement. Many of my London weddings are actually at manor house venues just outside the city — in Surrey, Kent, or the Chilterns.
